Hunting Registration requirements:

  • Hunting License: All foreign hunters are required to possess a valid hunting license, valid for the entire duration of their hunting activities in Romania, issued by the relevant authorities in their home country.
  • Accident Insurance: It is mandatory for foreign hunters to have comprehensive international accident insurance that covers any potential accidents that may occur during the hunt.
  • Firearm Permit: Foreign hunters must also hold a valid firearm permit for the entire period of their stay in Romania.
Those intending to hunt in Romania, along with any accompanying group members, must be familiar with and accept all hunting regulations and conditions, as well as the prices and services provided by our company.

According to Romanian law, all participants must be members of a recognized hunting society in their country and must carry valid accident insurance, which is also recognized in Romania. Our company is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the hunting period, whether to the hunter or any associated persons.

Our company handles all hunting registrations and the necessary entry formalities for hunters coming to Romania. To ensure your reservation, a signed registration command must be submitted at least 40 days before the hunt, along with an advance payment of 30% of the estimated total cost of the hunt and related services.

Upon receiving your registration, we will confirm your reservation and make every effort to accommodate your specific requests, ensuring the availability of the desired game and trophies in the hunting area.

To obtain the necessary licenses for entering Romania with firearms and ammunition, you must provide us with the required information at least 15 days before your arrival.

Should you need to postpone or cancel your hunt for any reason, please note that the registration fee is non-refundable unless the cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. However, deposits can be transferred to a future hunting session.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather or other insurmountable events, both parties are released from their obligations without penalty. The individual who signs the registration command will be considered the authorized representative for all other participants listed in the command.

Travel and Hunting Formalities

Approval for entering Romania with firearms and ammunition will be facilitated by our team, provided all required documents are submitted within 15 days. Romanian law permits a maximum of 50 cartridges per firearm and a maximum of two firearms per hunter. Hunting dogs may also be brought into Romania, provided they have a sanitary-veterinary certificate issued within 10 days prior to entry, and must be vaccinated against rabies between one to twelve months before entry.

During the Hunt

Qualified personnel, that are employees of the local hunting society, will assist you throughout your hunt. They will handle the preparation, clearing, and packaging of any trophies you acquire. The size and value of your trophies will be determined by qualified staff in your presence.

Payments and Disputes

The final cost of your hunt will be adjusted to account for the 30% advance payment. The remaining balance must be paid in cash at the conclusion of the hunt, after trophy evaluation.

Any disputes must be resolved on-site within the hunting area. If unresolved, disputes regarding trophies will be escalated to the National Committee for Evaluating Hunted Trophies, whose decision will be final. Hunters may only collect their trophies after all associated fees have been paid and appropriate documentation has been provided.
